Our family has decided that site 26 on the river is the nicest campsite we have ever used. Plenty of space between sites. Campground is very well maintained and folks were very nice. Premium price, but well worth it!
Bathrooms clean, cable didn't work. Stayed in a heavy downpour and park didn't drain well. Nice coffee shop and pizza, but park itself just good enough for an overnight. Better options fairly close by.
Park was well suited as a base for going to Disney/Universal, but is turning into a high priced trailer park with pink and teal colored mobile homes being sold as vacation homes. This draws folks who have no empathy with RV'ers. I had problems with folks parking their SUV's in the road (RV's couldn't get by) and kids being allowed to run wild on electric scooters. I literally had to stop my rig when leaving to keep from running over one...he never saw me either! I won't be back any time soon.
This park is mainly for overnighters off of I95, but would make a nice base for visiting Edisto, Savannah, etc. All sites are pull throughs and it is easily accessible from the interstate. Very neat and peaceful. Will stay there again! Check out Duke's Bar-B-Q nearby for some local flavor!
